Background: |
The Ctr protein contains three assumed transmembrane regions. It is a plasma membrane protein that transports Cu from extracellular space to cytosol or vacuoles or lysosomes, from vacuoles or lysosomes to cytoplasm. Ctr protein can form a homodimer, homologous trimer, or heterozygote with itself or one another, or form a heterozygote of another protein related to Cu transport. |
